Bemis 5000 Round White Moulded Wood Toilet Seat

Purchased 3 of these, Good quality product, excellent price, too early to tell about wear and tear. No cold plastic first thing in the morning. Only hit one snag whilst fitting which was the plastic nuts have a wing on them which should (and would) assist in tightening the nut however when matched to my Ideal Standard toilets prevented the nut from turning and tightening by hand. There were no wings on the nuts being replaced. Two solutions, screw the bolt into the nut (rather than turn the nut) or saw the wing off. I am not admitting how many wings I sawed off before realising a better solution. Very efficient delivery service. Would definitely use company again.

My wife was about to buy a cheap toilet seat from the local shopping area until I told her I'd already ordered this product from you and ruined her exciting shopping experience. Her expectations of your product were low but forgotten now that it is safely installed. The seat has a solid feel, no flimsy plastic here, and should be easy to keep clean. The hinge system appears strong (only time will tell) and easier to fit than the last 2 seats I've had to fit in a previous house. These aren't the most complicated products to buy but this is exactly what I was expecting if not slightly better, and hence very pleased with the purchase.

We have struggled with sullen and evasive seats that slide sideways, work free of their fittings and generally make a fool of every attempt to fit and forget them. When prompted to review this new toilet seat, I remembered we had fitted it and that it, like toothache, had stopped being a problem sent to plague my quiet moments. Oh why do we not enjoy the absence of a long standing pain! I have just been in and checked, it sits where I placed it, central, sturdy, unremarkable and discreet. Oh joy, an open and shut case. I LIKE my new seat. I forget and under value its lack of foibles. Bliss.

I was looking for a replacement for my current moulded toilet seats but all were expensive (for the same brand), then I discovered these at plumb world. I had purchased items from plumb world before so knew the service would be great. Items arrived within 2 days in perfect condition. The name on the item was not Bemis but I compared it to the original one it was replacing and it was identical. The fitting kit supplied with the seat is the basic one but this worked fine with the toilet pans. Two purchased for nearly the same price as one from most other on-line stores.

I wanted to replace an existing Bemis loo seat inherited when I bought my property, as it had served us well. Looked in B&Q etc but couldnt find exact one. Googled Bemis and found this website, checked out measurements and ordered 2. Was a little worried as not like buying in a shop but the picture was reassuring. Package arrived 2 days later and seats were exactly wot I wanted! Great service and the price was certainly right. Would recommend this site to anyone going on my experience. The service was excellent , price was amazing , delivery 48 hours ..... can't do a lot better than that ... BUT....this is the third seat we've had to buy since having our bathroom suite fitted . , the previous 2 fairly qickly lost their finish under the seat and looked stained ALTHOUGH THEY WERN'T , and HAD NOT been cleaned with any harsh cleaners , so we wait to see how the new one fares.....here's hoping for better quality of finish this time ..

After many purchases of toilet seats that moved from side to side I am so glad I found this site to buy from! This seat is great, solid, shiny and fits so well. It stays put, so easy to fit too. I have had problems getting a toilet seat to fit my toilet properly. Previous purchases from other suppliers have worked loose and wobbled within days of fitting. This seat however fits perfectly. The hinges are totally wobble free and dont need tightening every five minutes. It was very easy to fit - from the top - so no scrabbling under the pan. It looks great too. I am delighted.

Sick of toilet seats sliding around and lids that you can’t sit on because they’re so flimsy. Bought this one to try and it’s such a relief to have found a good solid Seat that stays put. Just ordered a second one for my elderly mother as her new toilet seat is hanging off in less than a month. She’s tiny so there’s absolutely no stress on the hinges.
