1.5-bowl kitchen sinks are the perfect combination of single and double-bowl sinks. They give you the added flexibility of two bowls but without the added size that comes with them. The larger of the two bowls is generally a little smaller than single bowl sinks but that additional half bowl is worth the loss of space as it can be used for rinsing and swilling while the main bowl is already in use.
